Hmm, well, I don't really think the Foundation (or should I say the German OpenOffice.org Verein, since they are currently hosting and taking contributions and could be seen to be the responsible legal entity) can afford a potentially damaging and expensive trademark suit before it even officially has any legal existence ;-) And that just in one region of the globe. It would be rather embarassing for the project to find itself in the press for all the wrong reasons just after it had started up, IMHO.
