This was changed on the way (http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~maria-captains/maria/10.0-mdev26/revision/3554). Instead of "CHANGE MASTER TO master_gtid_pos=auto" you need to use "CHANGE MASTER TO master_use_gtid=1". If you want to actually set gtid_pos you need to set @@global.gtid_pos.
