Hi Elena, I've pushed "initial" support for batched INSERT and BKA into 5.5-cassandra, and updated http://kb.askmonty.org/en/cassandra-storage-engine to cover batching. Could you please test it?
Cassandra uses "hashed" mode with BKA (see docs), which haven't been used for a while (previous user was Falcon storage engine), so it is possible that something malfunctions in BKA. Names/meaning of control variables and status counter names are preliminary and may change in the future.
