Hello Jukka,
Yes exactly. When I see the IMGBOX and NQUERY variables, both refer to a
box. How are we suppose to define it? With a form probably, but drawing
a rectangle would be better for me. I will look at this IMGBOX variable
to try to catch it in JS.
When you speak about WMS, I am not familiar with it, but I guess that
it's only a limitation for some sort of data? I'm only using a Tiff
background image with Mapinfo format vectors and all are stored locally.
Thanks
Arthur

Hi,
I guess that Arthur is after some Mapvserver specific CGI queries
https://mapserver.org/cgi/controls.html like NQUERY with a box, which
is something that WMS does not support.

Hello Arthur
You can find such features in two main projects:
* OpenLayers: http://www.openlayers.org/
* leaflet: https://leafletjs.com/

Y.

Hello,
Years ago there was a Java code called JBox, which were very nice to
make multiple queries by drawing a box on the map (which you could
also
use in browse mode to zoom).
With the restrictions on Java in modern web browsers, I would like to
replace JBox with something else, maybe some Javascript, but I can't
find help about this by myself, so I come to you!
I'm not super familiar with JS, even though I can write some
stuff. Do
you know about some examples / libraries to have this box tool?
Thanks!
Arthur
