I've recently come across a frustrating issue which was compounded by 
Proofpoint sending the entire rejected message in NDRs. 

Normally this is not an issue, but when a message is rejected due to either 
content reasons or message size that can have undesireable effects.

Our existing Proofpoint support route so far as not realy helped nor understood 
the issue, so I wanted to ask opinions on NDRs containing the full message as 
opposed to just headers etc. Along with wether anyone at Proofpoint could weigh 
in?

The biggest issue we've had recently was due to a user having an auto-forward 
to their gmail mailbox (not great and we're making needed changes to prevent 
auto-forwarding). 

However, when gmail rejects an email due to size for such a user it causes a 
loop. As the NDR gets forwarded that gets rejected by gmail, which creates a 
NDR that gets forwarded etc.
