We’re small too (mostly forum and mailing list output but hosting a few forwarding addresses), so we’ve just decided to check the major DNSBLs and hope for the best. And as usual, it’s MS services that have the biggest issue with new IPs; even iCloud was not a problem for us, which, I’ll be honest, as a user of that service and having witnessed it just vaporise email in the past, surprised me pleasantly! This gives me hope that by just playing it safe we should be all right, although I do think DKIM signing is mandatory now. Just react whenever you run into a problem.
