As is often the case you are probably not hearing anything from operators who have the responsibility of delivering other peoples' email. Most times people mention that they are blocking (or scoring up) entire classes of email with one simple trick there is very little point in me responding, "I don't want to have to explain this to my users and handle the exceptions they will require." It works for them and that's fine.
