The first thing to check is your DNS. Sometimes Google's DNS servers
are unable to resolve various domains, often because the domain's
server's inadvertently block or rate limit DNS queries from Google.
The issue could also be localised to particular data-centres, where
the outgoing mail is queued, and which end up using a particular set of
regional resolvers that happen to be blocked, or suffering some sort of
BGP issue preventing DNS resolution.
Test resolving your MX RRset and MX host A/AAAA records from multiple
locations querying 8.8.8.8.
