RFC 6376 section 3.1 says that a selector is a sequence of dot separated
sub-domain items, which is imported from RFC 5321 which says sub-domain is a
sequence of letters, digits, and hyphens, i.e., a host name.

The underscore in the selector is just wrong. I don't know what Cloudflare is
thinking.
