You're not listed, so it's not a listing. A listing would cause a 550 bounce at the SMTP transaction with more details.

What is happening is that something in the message is being fingerprinted. They use Proofpoint as their main filter, so it's likely their content scanners are not happy with.

They also likely see very low volume, so they don't have enough history to make a decision on whether to contest the fingerprint or not.

I do know that when a sender moves your email to the inbox, that will create a whitelist entry for that sender.

Hi all,

after years of operating this exact mailserver for personal use and some hobby projects here and there with https://hetzner.cloud/ <https://hetzner.cloud/> on the IPv4 157.90.168.125, I noticed that everything from it still goes to spam with @icloud.com addresses. This e-mail service is not very popular with Europeans and I hardly ever send an e-mail to it.

However, unlike even Microsoft, they unfortunately seem to have no process of delisting the IP at all:

    Hello,
    Thank you for your message.

iCloud Mail uses reputation systems, user feedback, and other
dynamic filtering technology to route or reject inbound messages to
our users. If you are consistently seeing your messages routed to
the Junk folder, please visit our postmaster support article at

Please note that messages from new sending IP addresses or domains
may experience fluctuations in deliverability performance till a
more established reputation is established for the sender. In
addition, messages to deliverability accounts are not indicative of
actual performance of a sender’s campaign.
    Best regards,

Do you have any ideas apart from using a relay like SES or artificially increasing my e-mail count to them?

Thanks

Max
