No, it won't. If you read again my messages, you would understand. I want to emphasize it again: EVEN if people WANT your mail, and even if they EXPECT it, they WON'T look for that mail in the spam folder unless explicitly told to. Period. Confirmed multiple times, with many different people. And two things are to be added: 1) The advice to look into spam folder works usually only retroactively, not proactively, ie. you can tell the recipient to check their spam folder AFTER the mail already got there, and this works, but saying this in advance, like "if you don't get email from me, check your spam folder" usually doesn't work. 2) The advice to look into spam folder usually works only one time - the next time mail gets into spam folder, you have to tell the recipient again to look for it there. Of course there are always exceptions, but this describes the behavior of majority of "ordinary", non-tech-savvy email users, especially users of large mailbox providers like Google or Yahoo. -- Regards, Jaroslaw Rafa r...@rafa.eu.org -- "In a million years, when kids go to school, they're gonna know: once there was a Hushpuppy, and she lived with her daddy in the Bathtub." _______________________________________________ mailop mailing list mailop@mailop.org https://list.mailop.org/listinfo/mailop
