Almost posted this off list, because I am most familiar with SpamRats RATS-AUTH and RATS-NULL, as well as some of their cloud definitions.. but sounds like blowing my own horn, which isn't really appropriate for the list..

But before others jump in on this thread..

I am sure there are many others that are dedicated to strictly AUTHentication abuse.. The key is to be able to do the check at all levels of authentication, whether by using an RBL, or static lists..
