That's what surprised me--zero ability to easily debug this from a customer
standpoint.

While I would love more information on why messages were rejected, that
would probably make it pretty easy for a spammer to sign up for a $20/mo
GSuite account and then use it to troubleshoot why his spam campaigns
weren't being received.

Given that, this seems more like a support/training issue.  I had to go
through 3 or 4 support reps to get several very wrong answers.

Of course I'm not blameless either.  When I create a group that a client
requests, my next stop is usually the permissions page to make sure
everything is set correctly...but this time another tech created it and the
thought never crossed my mind.
