Hi, I currently work for a UK University, and we're in the process of reviewing our aging exim servers. As part of this process we're bouncing around the idea of an external party taking over our frontend MX servers. The likes of Proofpoint, Mimecast, and another which Gartner suggested, but I have not heard of prior.
I just wanted to ask if anyone has gone through this process, and is willing/able to share their experience of doing so? Almost all of our mailboxes are in 365 now, and our on premise exchange cluster is slowly being wound down. If that has any bearing. Planning meaningful testing/POCs appears to be the current sticking point for instance. If anyone is willing to discuss it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Simon.
