For the cases we had, they were not bounced but rather put in spam and marked as unverifiable.  This is one screenshot that was texted to me for a domain of mine so I can share it.  However, we had quite a flurry of them in that week where we pretty abruptly had to setup SPF/DKIM/DMARC and in several cases, the domains are decades old with no architecture/ip/etc. changes, and no reputation/spam issues.  I postulated at the time that it was due to increased international issues with the Ukraine War.  It was the same day they were talking about Belarusian hackers impersonating Ukrainians in disinformation campaigns.  HTH, KAM
