I find these threats very useful. They tell me with 100% reliability
that the person sending the mail is a nitwit, or if applied by a
company mail server, he works for nitwits.
Anyone with even the slightest familiarity with contract law knows why
they're meaningless.
Not only that, but they do not, by any measure, protect the
'privileged' nature of the content, and so it absolutely does not remain
confidential.

is not the only country in the world that uses this thing called The
Internet (I know it will be hard for americans to grasp that fact, but,
