The recent BGP hijacks (MyEtherWallet / Route53) and later Cloudflare
were game changers. In fact we (easyDNS) had a brief BGP hijack
originating out of Brazil a few weeks ago, and a bank in Europe was
hijacked at the same time as us, by the same ASN (they were not a
client, I just found them asking around on a security list looking for
info on the Brazilian ASN).

I wrote the following blog post and DNSSEC page step through why. It's
true that I plug our own DNSSEC implementation in it, but the reality is
we're one of the few domain registrars /and /DNS providers that offer a
unified, turnkey solution for implementing DNSSEC.
