Hello. I'm wondering if there's anyone here who can point me to a definitive answer on the meaning of the following error message, seen when sending to an Office 365 hosted domain:
550 5.4.1 ...@... Recipient address rejected: Access denied [DM3NAM06FT012.Eop-nam06.prod.protection.outlook.com] I've found this: https://support.office.com/en-US/article/Fix-email-delivery-issues-for-error-code-5-4-1-in-Office-365-7dcf7a8b-e00e-49f8-bf8d-74aba79c5a6a and this: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Email-non-delivery-reports-in-Office-365-51daa6b9-2e35-49c4-a0c9-df85bf8533c3?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US But they don't seem to quite cover it, as for most of my customers, they'll get the above error message on some, but not all, messages to a given domain. My goal here is to figure out if this is a signal that a given user does not wish to receive mail from a sender, and therefore should be suppressed, or if it's another example of some sort of configuration issue, as cited on the first linked page.
