Nice to see that Gmail users see the same problem as other ISP's.
We have long asserted that if you use 'Top Rank in Google' that the
google key word makes it less 'spammy' by Gmail filters :)
Almost all of the Gmail leakage we see lately is related to SEO. Website
development, offshore app development. (whether legitimate operations or
those fake SEO companies wanting access to your credit card and server,
always hard to tell)
Most of it coming from hosted domains.
Other than those, Gmail's spam detection (outbound) we have to say is
still fairly good, especially considering their size and business model
(free).
Would be nice though if there was an easier way for feedback.
Also curious what the outbound rate limits are for those hosted domains.
Based on it mostly going to 'stripped' addresses from websites, have to
assume that they are doing a fairly 'bulky' send in order to make it
effective.
