Hi all

As an ISP we operate email services under various domain names for our
end-customers.

We also operate the community based SWINOG DNS Anti-Spam Blacklist
services.

Now I came across a strange behaviour from the email marketer
Cleverreach(.de)

He blocked outbound emails to one of our main domains.

Cleverreach customers who could not send their email to our customers
anymore contacted the cleverreach support. Cleverreach blamed to fault
to us, because we operate 'spamtraps' on our mailserver.

So we had to deal with angry customer of cleverreach, who could not
send emails to our customers, and also our angry customers wo did not
receiver newsletters they opted in for from cleverreach.

It took several weeks of explaining what we do and how our spamtraps
work, to persuade cleverreach to unblock our domain. The reason they
gave us for the blocking: They got complaints because their customers
sent emails to our spamtrap.

I wanted to help them to figure out what happened, get information from
them about which email address they exactly got complaints, but no
chance, the don't want to tell.

Anyone having had similar experiences with them?
