A question ... Outside of the spam case, how typical is it for someone to send from one Freemail provider with a Reply-To: pointing to *ANOTHER* Freemail provider?
Just wondering. It’s the SaaS website that’s designed for brownie troops that lets them organize events and plan outings and handle “troop business.” It’s not an ESP specifically, but a lot of brown troops, and girl scout troops, and school bands and local sports programs do use email heavily. And it’s much better and easier to handle using software that’s designed for that kind of usage than a webmail provider. Those things involve newsletters and other one-to-many emails. Sometimes it’s announcements, sometimes it’s collecting responses, sometimes it’s just making sure parents know the pickup from the camping trip changed from 9am to 11am. And whether or not any of us think it’s necessary, or needed, the reality it that is how people are using email today. laura -- Having an Email Crisis? 800 823-9674 Laura Atkins Word to the Wise la...@wordtothewise.com (650) 437-0741 Email Delivery Blog: https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3a%2f%2fwordtothewise.com%2fblog&data=01%7c01%7cmichael.wise%40microsoft.com%7c1552f11f17ca406f447208d35407b606%7c72f988bf86f141af91ab2d7cd011db47%7c1&sdata=aeF1hN8psgTGo5QfdbnLZ5%2f0KmZqjsCkpFpHMF0I%2bpA%3d _______________________________________________ mailop mailing list mailop@mailop.org https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3a%2f%2fchilli.nosignal.org%2fcgi-bin%2fmailman%2flistinfo%2fmailop%0a&data=01%7c01%7cmichael.wise%40microsoft.com%7c1552f11f17ca406f447208d35407b606%7c72f988bf86f141af91ab2d7cd011db47%7c1&sdata=dUt%2flnd7QCmCYT1EbkehzAIZIC%2fD2GqzJxi2FItlbpo%3d _______________________________________________ mailop mailing list mailop@mailop.org https://chilli.nosignal.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mailop
