Hi Everyone,

I found this little gem on my SMTP error logs:

reason: 521 A URL (schema.org) in the email resolved to a blacklisted IP:
521 The IP 216.58.208.46 is Blacklisted by dnsbl.sorbs.net. Dynamic IP
Addresses See: http://www.sorbs.net/lookup.shtml?216.58.208.46 -- .
type: blocked
email: redac...@redacted.com

a quick lookup in SORBS shows a DUHL listing.

so, that does seem braindamaged for so many reasons:

obviously, redacted.com seem to be doing the wrong thing about SORBS. DUHL
doesn't seem intended to stop HTTP hosts.
OTOH, the SORBS entry seems very odd: schema.org is hosted by google, not
really a dynamic range (but with broken PTR record?)

Name: schema.org
Address: 216.58.208.46

46.208.58.216.in-addr.arpa name = lhr08s07-in-f46.1e100.net.
46.208.58.216.in-addr.arpa name = lhr08s07-in-f14.1e100.net.

(ironically, we don't even link to schema.org, we use google's email markup
- that probably many many senders use)

if anyone from google or SORBS is reading this, a fix would be nice. we are
not impacted to any real capacity, but I'd wager it can cause some
unwarranted mail loss at times. other than that, I found this very
interesting and share-worthy.
if you are running another RBL or DNSBL, I think whitelisting schema.org
and its IP is also a prudent thing.
