Hi,

I use ProtonMail with its bridge as well, and I haven't noticed any problems. 
But I use the IMAP deletion model without a Trash folder. I've setup MailMate 
to tag mails as \Deleted and I expunge them manually, as Mark Crispin (RIP) 
intended :-)
