Upon restoring my settings AND turning off PGP AND restarting MM all
accounts, the Drafts Folder operations were normalized. By that I mean:
1. No crashes experienced on MM v6241. Over several hours and prior to
using Drafts folder again (crashes occurred repeatedly when I first
upgraded).
2. Was able to send a draft message either from the compose window or an
older, existing draft message save either in MM or externally in iOS
Mail or a secondary external Mac’s creation.
3. No more PGP until the crashing issues and Drafts folder issues can be
fully resolved.
4. Benny is aware of here issues and promises a fix soon. I expect
though, given his reasoning about security of a PGP message as a draft,
the possibility exists that a PGP signed and/or encrypted message will
not be saved in a Draft form at all or perhaps dealt with in a different
way.
I can now see Draft folder’s content in 7 of 8 accounts (the remaining
being my two iCloud IMAP accounts where a message created in MM’s
appearance in Drafts folder remains kind of flaky - takes a while to
appear, if at all) created in MM.
Respectfully,
Henry Seiden
