I had tried to redirect an email a couple of days ago and Fastmail wouldn't let me. Redirecting worked fine a few years ago.

Now I know why. Thanks for the tip.

Does "Redirect" work for you?

Often I get an error from my mail provider Fastmail.com when I redirect mail, So that’s not a great option.

Yeah, "Redirect" is a different sort of function. That's when you want someone to get a copy of an email that still looks like it came from the original sender (i.e., the "From:" is the same as the original message, so when the new person replies, it goes back to the original author). That breaks some current anti-spam tools, which is why you see an error.

(We're just starting work on a new standard that will allow for redirects without looking like spam, so hopefully that feature becomes useful again. Very useful for the "you deal with this" function at work.)
