I would also be happy to help add more details because I appreciate good documentation. :)

I remember there is a GitHub repository: [https://github.com/mailmate/mailmate_manual](https://github.com/mailmate/mailmate_manual).

I even submitted some [pull requests as "muescha"](https://github.com/mailmate/mailmate_manual/pulls?q=sort%3Aupdated-desc+is%3Apr+author%3Amuescha) whenever I discovered hidden preferences while browsing the archives and mailing lists.

However, since there was no Continuous Integration (CI) setup with GitHub Actions to automatically publish new pull requests to the live website, I eventually stopped contributing because my changes were never published.

Here are my suggestions:

- Perhaps Benny could set up CI with GitHub Actions for the manual, as this would encourage contributions to the repository. :) - Benny could consider generating a plain list of preferences (via a code scan to identify the names and where they are used). With this initial list, contributors could expand the documentation with more details.

using defaults write. These features aren’t documented and are often discovered by chance in archived mailing list or at lighthouse. It would be great to have them a little documented or available as settings. 😊

just to throw out an idea:

maybe us users could start a wiki and document them there in order to ease the load on Benny. Once documented this could be moved easier to the main documentation easier while also being accessible for others in an easier fashion than thru the mailing list archive.
