Thanks for your response. I only have one source account. When I go to the 
synchronization schedule, I see, in a vertical list: connected [which I believe 
is the continuous, or close to it, option]; 5 minutes; 10 minutes; 30 minutes; 
hour; manually.

All are greyed out. There are no usable options under synchronize. My 
understanding (maybe wrong) is that the default is 5 minutes.
