Joseph,
I looking further at the memory leak issue, certain emails, particularly
yours, open up processes called shown in Activity Monitor>Memory, a
process named, “About:’ in the MailMate Group, while I was composing
this message, boosting APP MEMORY to 16GB (several apps in addition are
included in this total).
These don’t close when the email are closed. Counted 14-18 items in
addition to the application itself each one consuming 9.0 -76MB of RAM
in several threads.
Could this be a source of trouble?
Respectfully,

Joseph,
FYI your message indicates it is OpenPGP (flagged because it
couldn’t locate gig command to open it).
I do notice in Ventura, MailMate consumes 17 threads @303MB on
Activity Monitor - Memory. This doesn’t in any obvious way affect my
machine performance, however. Memory and CPU consumption are very low
on my MBP 18,3 M1 machine. My app has been open for some time with no
degradation.

R5923 (as well as at least one of the preceding versions) crashes

clicking on certain emails - maybe expanding threads, etc. The
symptom seems to be that Mailmate starts consuming all system memory.
IE. I have to close-quit it at around 70GB of usage.
