It's so well hidden in plain sight that I discovered it only a few days
ago,
after ages, like you, feeling there must be a better way than to
customize
each time I reply to a list.
In "Edit IMAP Settings", just add each alias you need to the
comma-separated
list tagged "Email Address(es)".
