And say I only want `Foo Bar <foo...@baz.com>` to show up as an autocomplete option, not `Foo <foo...@baz.com>`. If I select `Foo <foo...@baz.com>` in a new message and right click on that address, I can select `Add “Foo <foo...@baz.com>” to Blacklist`. `Foo <foo...@baz.com>` duly shows up in the `Blacklist.plist` file. But `Foo <foo...@baz.com>` remains as an autocomplete suggestion.

Is this a bug or am I misunderstanding this feature?

Sounds like a bug. I'll note to look into it.

Hmm, does it also not work after relaunching MailMate? I'm thinking maybe some internal caching makes this fail. It's quite possible I only tested blacklisting in a message headers view and not the Composer itself.

Yes, I’ve restarted MailMate numerous times since adding various display names to the blacklist — to no avail.

Best,

Galen
