I don't think any of the recent changes could affect Gmail behavior in this way.
Anyway, I'm seeing, or NOT seeing I should say mail that had been viewed in Gmail Web and then marked as unread via Gmail.
Is this reproducible? What happens if you take the INBOX offline and then online again?
Even when looking the INBOX under the Sources node in the tree, unadorned from any filters the messages just seem to not exist... anyone else seeing this?
Well, you got another reply on the list, but it's not a general issue. If you or someone else can either reproduce it or see it relatively often then I'd love to debug the issue.
