If you only see “Connected” grayed out then it's because you are
trying to set the schedule on an account instead of a mailbox. The
account setting (under SOURCES in the mailbox list) only works as a
default for all mailboxes within the account. The default cannot be
“Connected” since that would require an open connection for every
mailbox.
