I am unable to "Edit as new message" any message that uses Markdown. When I try to do so, the message opens, but with the body empty.

Hmmm, interesting. I have "Watch for Beta Builds" checked in MM preferences. My version is 1.8 (4402), and when I check for new betas, I'm told that I have the latest version. Do you have a test version? If so, how can I get that? Thanks.
