Sometimes when I open a message on this list, MailMate shows it with

Unable to locate the command (gpg2) needed to create the OpenPGP

Please verify that you have installed GPGTools as required by
MailMate.
Is that just poorly expressed, or am I actually expected to install
GPGTools when I install MailMate?
Seems to be more than poorly expressed. You only need GPGTools if you
need to verify/read/write OpenPGP messages.
I can read the message just fine. I'd rather not see the yellow
warning window, though.
If you have disabled verification/decryption in the Security preferences
pane then it shouldn't be shown, but maybe that fails too?
