No, I think I've only said it wasn't implemented yet (and maybe that
it was non-trivial to implement). It's actually available in the
current test version of MailMate: Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check
Now” in the Software Update preferences pane. You can read about the

Note that “Redirect” in MailMate does not allow you to change
anything in the message (because that would be wrong).
