And what does this message say? It should be the confirmation request to the user built from the mailman/templates/en/list:user:action:subscribe.txt template.
I can also see it on the pending user confirmation page. However, there is nothing showing up on the pending approval page
Because it is not waiting moderator approval, it is waiting user confirmation.
