In the migration I mentioned earlier, Xapian indexing of archives was by far the most time-consuming part. At that time I was unable to find a way to work backward (most searches are for recent posts), so I modified the scripts to (1) not index while migrating the posts and (2) prioritize the most active small-archive lists for indexing. I'm not sure I have copies of those scripts any more though. -- GNU Mailman consultant (installation, migration, customization) Sirius Open Source https://www.siriusopensource.com/ Software systems consulting in Europe, North America, and Japan _______________________________________________ Mailman-users mailing list -- mailman-users@mailman3.org To unsubscribe send an email to mailman-users-le...@mailman3.org https://lists.mailman3.org/mailman3/lists/mailman-users.mailman3.org/ Archived at: https://lists.mailman3.org/archives/list/mailman-users@mailman3.org/message/574RBDVBV4SGJT4NV646RL2GJ7RKI57D/ This message sent to arch...@mail-archive.com
