I stumbled across the same warning, which has been known for at least two years. It can be triggered by the command above. Since Debian Stable still uses version 1.4 of python3-sqlalchemy:
Do you know if this warning still happens in a version ≥2.0 of python3-sqlalchemy? Do you know a workaround to generate less noise in the log files without disabling all MariaDB warning messages? We really use the NNTP gateway, turning that off is not an option.
