I am also experiencing problem with BSD license.

There is a software called ISPconfig, which is a web hosting control
panel like cpanel.

Though it is a free software, its billing module is proprietary and
not available without a fee. If it was GPL, it would not be possible.
This is a huge restriction to the users.
