Thanks a ton for that. I am really delighted with the user-friendliness of ubuntu as well. A non techie like me, could install and use it, without much help from others. That by itself is a proof of it's user friendliness. Thanks for that. I started a project 'Arpoh.com' a couple of years back, which is a free web based application for agile project management based on SCRUM and it is done on MS platform, because the resources available to me was only that. To my surprise, this application gained tremendous acceptance in europe, and has around 2000+ registered users now, without any kind of propaganda from my side. That is a very positive sign. I want to port this application to a true open source platform (LAMP), and take it forward under GPL. I can contribute by way of domain knowledge and my contacts, and I need support on all technical aspects. I see at as great opportunity to launch an open source project from Kochi. Would like to hear from those interested. I am open to every suggestion, to make this a success. There are no GPLed tools that helps SCRUM. Trac/Bugzilla all combinations can be used as work arounds but none them provides the features log sprint backlogs or even record some summary of the SCRUM meetings. I will be interested in providing technical assistance / architecture or any other for the project within my limited capabilities. -- Thanks and Regards, Bobinson K B On 21 October 2010 14:02, Abrachan Pudussery <[email protected]> wrote: > I bounced on to ilug-kochi as a desperate attempt to sort the wireless > connectivity issues with ubuntu 10.10, and I am really delighted with the > immediate responses from some of the group members, which is much much > better than the cold responses one receive from the?proprietory software > vendors/companies. Though my knowledge in this field is limited, I strongly believe that I can learn things pretty fast. So please do consider me IN. Regards,
