Hi,

I have been getting a few requests on this.
So I wrote

http://www.dragonflybsd.org/docs/newhandbook/environment/

It will teach you basically

1) how to use a BSD system Like Debian with apt utils.
2) how to use BSD with a much better volume management scheme than LVM
( forget partitioning and resizing etc )
3) how to get sufficient redundancy without RAID, Paritychecks, fsck and stuff
4) how to feel the power of a copyon file system with infinite
snapshots. You need to wait till btrfs becomes stable to use a copyon
file system in Linux :-(

and more...

cheers!
