Hi, I have an amd64 machine with
VIA VT1708/A that has AD1986A Codec I could use mic on it only when I had Windows. I thought it was a driver problem It is a long story http://marc.info/?l=openbsd-misc&m=128633697417335&w=1 But now since i found out the mic can be got working under OpenBSD through these steps http://marc.info/?l=openbsd-misc&m=128634065520092&w=1 I wonder if it can be done in Linux too.
