Hi all,

Its a good thing to do. But i will be even happier, if we are able to make
such a project in India itself, rather than importing Chinese technology. What
our country is falling largely behind is lack of R & D. Even after having such
a huge programmer population in IT Firms, the contribution of India to FOSS is
very very small !!!... I believe we need to initialize a program that
encourages students at various colleges to develop "Indigenous computer
hardware", with "Libre architecture" . This will be the biggest contribution we
could make to the world. I strongly believe our country has the capacity to do
it....and there are brilliant youngsters who can do it. But unfortunately, our
universities are not encouraging it; except the IITs and some other ones.
Actually its R&D that keeps IIT at the top of the list all the time...

Warm Regards,
S.Sreekanth
