Dear All,
I believe all of you would have came to know about the full day meeting
to be conducted in connection with the 13th anniversery of the ILUG Cochin.
This
mail is intimate all those who are interested in technical presentation, that
they are to submit their topic and the details of the presentation on or
before
18th septemper.
Details should be contain:
*Topic and objective
*Content or slides
*Hardware and Software Requirements
*Other requirements like While board..
And i want to give some guidelines to people who plan to take presentations:
*duration can be from 15 to 45 min.
*presentations must be brief and effective.
*presentations must not talk/promote/mention/discuss about proprietary software
unless it becomes totally impossible to continue the topic without discussing
it.
*speakers must remember that audience will be dynamic and heterogeneous and
need
to adjust according to that.
*Try to provide sufficient links to help and can provide phone number or
other information.
*present the topic in the light of a community.
*It is your responsibility to ensure that the Hardwares,Softwares and other
requirements are OK.
Try to do more than one presentation per person.Once again i remember you
who plan to do the presentation should be sent the details of the presentation
before 18th September and sent their slides before 22nd September.
