I gave this link just to let you know that such flaws are being
revealed even in Windows 7 their latest.

Hope you wont take the level of seriousness of  the exploit to argue
against the case :-)

If you have been managing Windows/Linux/BSD computers for production
purposes you can vouch for yourself which OS keeps you tensed for days
without releasing patches for known exploits.

And which OS looks at security proactively and fixes holes even before
they are found just because it got fixed ( even before it was proved
exploitable ) when they were fixing a wrong way of doing things in the
code.
