my project consist of a MySQL database which will be updated by the data coming from the RS232 RS232 port has to receive the data which consist of roomid and personal id,so the RS232 kernel module must consist of an interrupt which let it know that the data has come and this interrupt has to let the read module to read the data and send it to the userspace and the database should be updated.writing a tty driver has driving me crazy..any help
