1. Sr. Manager - Network & VoIP
Responsibilities:
•Responsible for the overall management of the Global Network and voice
Group.
• Ensures implementation of WAN and LAN projects comprised of the Cisco
family of routers and switches.
• Ensures implementation of Dialer projects comprised of the Aspect and
Cisco dialers.
•Manages the interface with other IT personnel to troubleshoot, install,
design and maintain same.
•Ensures SLAs and restoral to service systems as opposed to components.
•Develop and optimize the maintenance and operational methodologies
required to improve operating efficiencies.
•Ensures global monitoring and real-time proactive response on all
Network, Voice and corresponding ancillary systems.
•Responsible for managing 24*7 shift operations and escalations.
•Minimum 10 years management experience leading a global network team.
•Experience with Cisco family of Routers and Switches a must. Must be
cognizant of Telco provisioning to include HDLC, Frame and ATM.
•Experience with Dialer technology, preferably with Aspect and Cisco
Dialer is a must.
•Must be able to troubleshoot systems and not just hardware.
•Prefer hands-on experience in Cisco family of routers, switches,
dialers and Aspect dialers.
•Good project management skills.
•B.E/B.Tech
• CCIE certification is desirable

2. Network Architect
Following are the responsibilities of Network Architect.
•Responsible for development of architecture standards, vendor
evaluation and documentation for design, implementation and support of
all data and voice network technologies.
•Advise on the future direction and growth of network. Identifying,
testing, developing and implementation of new technologies
•Provide technical direction and support to network and voice team.
•Handle level 3 and 4 technical issues.
•Acting as a consultant to other departments regarding network / voice
design and support.
•Completing projects and tasks independently and with limited supervision.
•Vendor performance review.
KRAs
• Take ownership of release from conception through deployment, setting
up environments and documenting technical details regarding
functionality and configuration.
• Participate and contribute in conceiving future technology and next
generation products.
• Ensuring configuration management.
• Deploying systems in accordance with architected solution.
• Documenting known problems and failure analysis documents.
• Responsible for installing network infrastructure in accordance with
organizational policies and procedures such as Change Control Board and
System Installation Checklists.
Skills / Qualifications:
•B.E in electronics and Telecommunication with 5 - 7 yrs experience as a
Senior Engineer/Architect.
• Cisco Routing and Switching (enterprise): 6500 and nexus series,
advanced routing/switching, very Strong in MPLS Architecture and Design,
QoS, Multi-cast, load balancing/DNS, network management.
•Experience with technical product evaluation, new product
certification, strong written skills for architecture documentation, has
performed significant design work for data center and enterprise networks.
•Hands-on experience on configuring Cisco family of network devices.
•Should be up to date with the best practices and implement the same as
appropriate.
•Should have project management skills.
•An ability to perform duties and responsibilities even when under
tremendous pressure is required.
•Working understanding of the technical aspects of implementing and
operating VoIP systems is preferred.
•Hands-on experience with data cabling installation practices as well as
fiber and copper materials is strongly preferred.
•Hands-on experience in customer service and network services.
•Knowledge of IPT - Security: Checkpoint/Nokia firewalls, Intrusion
Detection (IDS), Vulnerability and penetration testing and threat
mitigation.
•Cisco VoIP experience a plus; CCIE is preferred.
