It has grown from a small group of hackers to a worldwide. thriving community. The most important aspect is the spread of the idea to other fields, which has in turn encouraged conception of ideas like Wikipedia and Creative Commons. We are quite lucky in Kerala, that we have got this concept to be embodied in our educational system, maybe at a very small level, but at least we have it there. But there seems to be a big gap in understanding this aspect and implementing its core values at the educational system. In our meeting we attempt to examine, how our children and upcoming generation will follow this concept and how they will grow to help others and innovate to be the gems of future India. A small idea of what we need to discuss : * Concept of Free Software. * Free Software induces Sharing at every level. * Interacting in a global community for the benefit of Mankind. * Self learning and self reliant. * Understanding and differentiating the ethics and legal aspects. * Creative and Open Thinking leading to the real Innovation. etc ... We would have a healthy discussion with people from all fields contributing thoughts.
