hi a few days back there was a posting regarding getting a conexant winmodem to work in linux. i had replied that the linuxant drivers didn't work for me.
linuxant has relaeased new drivers and they work perfectly except for the fact that they are locked to 14.4 kbps unless you pay 20$ to linuxant. my system is a amd64 3200 running gentoo linux, stable amd64, kernel 2.6.13 with preempt disabled. thanks bobby
