i think insted of coming out with latest versions of
kde and gnome developers should spend time on writing
drivers for hardware . the acceptance of linux will be
more if the hardware compatability improves .a classic
example is open office we have a killer office suite
with functions riveling the ms counterpart but try to
print something with it in linux platform . then you
will know whats the use of having such good software
if it dont have hardware compatability. most of the
modems wont work and in india pc buyer dont knokw
whats a winmodem.try to play any 3dshooter in machines
oter than nvida or ati based .it simply wont work .
may be the non existance of a single base is the
problem . we should work for that to create or make
something existing as the standard there should be
only one linux for the community weather its redhat or
debian its your choice ......
booooored you :-) thats max
bye bye
happy linuxing
catch everybody at the gnufest if we can get togather
at 16th we all can go there togather
